Payday Loans.

What exactly is payday loans?

According to Wikipedia, a payday loan (also called a paycheck advance) is a small, short-term loan that is intended to cover a borrower's expenses until his or her next payday. Most of the people do this because they needed it in advance or in other terms, they needed the money before the payday. In some other companies they allow this. But other don't.

In some work, especially those domestic helpers, if they are trustworthy enough, their bosses will allow them to get their advance salary. And it's a kind of thing that Filipinos do. Trust their maids.

Classes Canceled. AAAAAAAND Ball games.

So the classes were canceled today because the wind was blowing really hard and they thought it was gonna rain. So yeah, today was supposedly the 2nd to the last day of Finals but since it was moved until next week, it's gonna be another long wait until the end of the school year. DARN. I don't know but I'm kind of having mood swings. Sometimes I really really love to leave and graduate and yet sometimes, my heart is breaking because it's nearly over. I don't exactly know how to feel.

But anyway, talk about the ball games and stuff. We had our ball games just this week and it was only volleyball and badminton in particular. I was one of the volleyball players. And I feel so useless. I couldn't even give a good service. I'M A SHAME. LOL. But despite that, we WON. We defeated the Juniors and made it to the Championships. And that is where we defeated the Sophomores. Thanks to Nan, my classmate, who is very good in serving. And yeah, it was a close fight. Nice game, Sophomores.

I have nothing much to say now. I'm quite out of my mind.

Dance Fest. Friendship. The End.

So everyone in our school had been very very busy this past few days because of the upcoming Dance Fest in the Girls' Section. Apparently, boys are not included. Too bad for them. LOL. I'm so excited about this event. I'm so proud to be a senior. I love my classmates.

And yea, I hate talking about this but I have to. There is some kind of a friendship problem hanging around us all our lives in our school and it seems there's nothing to do to make it right. It's just that some of my classmates are childish enough to not forgive their own friends just because of some LITTLE crap they had done. This has something to do with our dance fest. I admit there is still a barrier in our class that divides us students from Sunrise and the original POIS students. Especially those who are really, really, really wild. And us students from Sunrise just kept quiet for so long and not gave a single damn about them. Honestly, we don't really care about their lives. All I want is to graduate high school and leave this country. And because of the upcoming dance fest, we were divided into two groups and basically, all from Sunrise went to my group and some of the POISians too. But there were 3 students left behind. So yeah, they are the main problem. LOL!

But enough of them. I don't want to mess up my blog talking about some stupid arguments.

Now, we just felt like the END is near. It breaks my heart to know that it's only 17 days away until our Graduation. And EVERYTHING ends there. I know people will tell me "No. It's not the end. It's just the beginning." Beginning of what? College? I know. But I was talking about THE END of High School. I just can't believe that 4 years have already passed and it seems only yesterday when I graduated Elementary. Now I'm looking forward to my College Life. I hope I don't suck.

And literally, we talked about THE END of the world. I know it sounds silly but we're already freaking out! With all these things happening in Libya and the other countries, with all those calamities and those almost impossibly rains occurring here in Jeddah, it's more likely for us to think that the rumor of 2012 END OF THE WORLD probably true. It's crazy. I should stop this crap. I don't think this will help me. :))

Promenade 2011

So these are my friends during the Prom night last January 25, 2011. I know it was a bit early for a promenade, I mean WE all know, but our school was looking for a cheaper amount of booking and they ended up booking for the earlier date. And the usual thing, it was held in Al Waha, Elite hotel. Almost every year, the prom is held in that hotel and not only the prom but also some other school activities and the non-academic activities as well.

So talk about the photo. All of them are seniors and they are what we call my "barkada". I've been with them since I came here and I know I will still be when I left this country. This is actually my last prom, since I am a senior.

And these are my girlfriends. :> I'm the one in pink so yeah, I'm a bit alienated. lol. The one in the farthest left is my best friend. And the rest are my COOLEST FRIENDS. I mean, I have more cool friends that are not in this picture. It just happens that the rest of them are busy with their own business at the moment this picture was taken.

And what's this? You asking? These are my buddies, trying to revive my dying shoes. My shoes are pink and it has a bow in front of it. And that night, unfortunately, one of the bows loosen up and eventually fell apart from my shoes. I was panicking. I was looking for at least a glue or something sticky to put it back together. But then the boys saw me running back and forth the hall and lend a hand. They saw a red ribbon just beside our line and decided to tie it around to settle it. But then I thought, "How about the other one? It doesn't look like they match if it doesn't have the red thingy too." So, out of their creativeness, they tied the red ribbon to the other and it was already balanced. Aaaaand..

I proudly present to you! THE FINISHED PRODUCT! LOOOL. It looked pretty much okay to me. I wore it like that the whole night but when the party started, I decided to just remove it and keep the ribbon. I was afraid that maybe when I'm partying hard, it'll just fall off and I can't find it.

This is my partner, well, 3 years partner actually, in the social dance and pretty much my prom date. LOL. He's a good guy, actually. He's been my partner since I started joining the prom and I comfortable with him only too well. And he dances pretty good. Must be because he's a hip hop dancer and a music lover. He goes with the beat. But honestly, the music that we used in the cotillion was far too hard to follow. At first it's like so damn slow but suddenly goes a lot more faster than normal. So our social dance was a bit wrecked up but I still liked it.

Anyway, he's got a hat and everybody mocks him. They call him Jose Rizal. But he doesn't mind. LOL. They didn't notice he was wearing contacts.

During the candle lighting ceremony. :) We sang Firework by Katy Perry. :)

Aaaand during the social dance. :D

Followed by the PARTYYYYYY. PARTY HARD!

It was a very lovely night. But I admit I sort of hated the last part since I went home early and I'm not yet satisfied. LOL.

I will miss all of these. I will miss of the Seniors. I will everyone. And I will miss HIGH SCHOOL.

December. Lovely.

So I just got home and I had such a lovely day at school. >:)

It is PE day, and we are suppose to wear our PE uniform. I wore mine but I didn't get to play with them in the ball games today since I'm having my period. :| And I hate it.

I am also preparing for LOADS of reports. Thank goodness I already finished reporting my Economics report and English report. One more to go, and it's about which should we call musicians among Balladeers, Rockers, Punks, etc. Honestly, I DON'T HAVE ANY IDEA. For me, anybody who appreciates music and can play ANY instrument or can sing is a musician. I can't understand why my Music teacher tells us "How can I call you a Musician if you're just singing?" I mean, she's obviously talking about me but little did she know, I also play the piano and the guitar. MEANIE.

Oh yeah, I definitely forgot about the thing that made this day lovely. My friends and I, during our vacant, played around a bit. Like running around the room, shouting and acting childishly. I mean that's brilliant. 'Cause we will never get to do that during College. We're making the most out of our High School life, and this is our last year, unfortunately.

OH MY GOD. I can't believe I'm being so random at this moment, typing about almost everything. Forgive me, please. I'm just too excited about things.

And yes, I remembered. There's this one girl from 2nd year, who bitches every boy and destroys everybody who's on her way. Every girl in our school hates her, and for some reason, she HATES me and I don't even know why. She said she was the MOST FAMOUS girl in school, well, until I enrolled. >:) Sorry but if you're reading this, not trying to lift my own chair, but try to look for a mirror and observe yourself. YOU ARE NO WAY NEAR AS FAMOUS AS ME. Get it? So don't hate on me, you don't know me yet. :) And oh, you're crushing on someone whose heart belongs to me? THAT IS COMPLETELY OUT MY HANDS. :) It's definitely NOT my fault.

There are STILL a lot more things I should blog about but since I'm lazy enough to stop typing, I'm gonna have to stop now. :)) I'm gonna have to relax before I break down because of all the events currently happening. So yeah, maybe tomorrow, expect me to write about something. :)

World Championships of Performing Arts in Hollywood, California :)

So I haven't told you about ANYTHING for the past month. GOSH I can't imagine how I'm so irresponsible neglecting my blogger. I AM SO SORRY :)) I know I was a bit preoccupied by Tumblr and Facebook so yeah, I nearly forgot that I even have a blogger account.

So first off, I ALREADY HAVE MY US VISA APPROVED! YAY FOR ME! Here it is:

Isn't that beautiful? :D So that just means that I am now able to join WCOPA or World Championships of Performing Arts to be held in Los Angeles, California in July. I AM SO EXCITED THERE'S NOT ENOUGH WORDS TO DESCRIBE IT. I can now show the world that I've got something to say. :)

And yeah, I also joined this inter-school Vocal Duet which was held last November 12 in the Golden Tulip Hotel here in Jeddah with my partner Coline Fernandez. :D We were the 1st runner up. WE ARE SO COOL. :)) Even though we didn't make it, I am confident enough to say that we did a great job.

Oh and I learned one thing, if you're getting REALLY REALLY near to your dreams, there's always this villain who will try his/her best to pull you down. They are just envious of what you are having or achieving to the point that they already embarrass themselves because of whatever they're doing. What a pity.

Anyway, there are still lots of things that I wanna write about but it's getting late and I still have to wake up early tomorrow because we're gonna have visitors. :D GOODNIGHT!

Durat Al Sharq International School.

I guess I haven't told you about this, but I'm transferring to another school.

NSIS have been through a really rough situation these past few weeks and I'm getting enough of it. Not only me, but my school mates too, I assume. I know I tried my best with all my wit to be as loyal as I can but this is just too much. I don't even know if I will be able to graduate if I continue and stay. The bottom line: TRANSFER.

Transferring doesn't mean I hated my school. I just wanna make sure I'll have a smooth studying flow and have decent and genuine grades with me. Moreover, I'm SICK of vacations already! I want activities. SCHOOL activities. WITH my mates. It really saddens all of us. And the events are breaking our hearts. We can't imagine it suddenly came to an end.

Now, almost half of the class will be transferring to POIS, or Pearl of the Orient International School, now known as DASIS, Durat Al Sharq International School.

I love my school, but something just don't seem right.

UPCAT!

So yeah! The UPCAT will be on October 11, the day after tomorrow, and there will be an orientation tomorrow at the test venue.

YES! I know this is gonna be so exciting but at the back of my mind, I still worry about the test questions that will come up in the exam. Is it THAT hard? My friend told me that it's more of a "STOCKED KNOWLEDGE" questions. I can't imagine what she meant but I'm looking forward for it. Although it sounds like pretty much an oxymoron for me. :))

For now, I would like to thank all my mentors, Kuya K, for giving us tips and advices for the UPCAT, Ma'am Sebastian, Ma'am Atienza and Ma'am Japson. Thank you so much. I would also like to thank Ma'am Laguardia as well as Tito Eli for supporting us. I wouldn't forget my family who always pushes me when an opportunity pass by. I owe you all so much.

I will try my very best not to flunk the test!

Card Day. Uniform. Building.

Today's Card day, which means I will be able to SEE how well I did this Quarter. I know I kinda sucked at 2 or 3 subjects, but it's entirely not my fault. Especially now, when I'm focused and all because of the upcoming UPCAT or University of the Philippines College Entrance Test. It's really depressing to learn that I almost fail on some subjects. And it wasn't ONLY ME who flunked, almost 75% of my batch. And it's not our fault, our grades depend on how the teacher appreciates our efforts. K?

Yesterday, I got my uniform and guess what? I'm gonna wear today! It's not about being excited or something but my classmates and I agreed that we're gonna try wearing it starting today, since we only have like 5 or 6 months left before we graduate. And at last! I am now able to use my LEATHER SHOES that match with my blue uniform. :)

Anyway, we will be moving buildings again next week. On Saturday, to be specific. In addition to that, we will be enrolled to an American Curriculum School! How cool is that? I know I sound aggressive, posting all these kinds of news on my blog. But it ain't easy to keep it all inside my head. It's like occupying almost 50% of my daily problems! Not really problems but how can I say it? :))

Sooooo, I'll try to post my grades later when I get home. :)

I HATE COMPUTER. I HATE CALCULUS.

Rush post!

So this is a rush post because any minute now the car pool will arrive. We're having review classes at school because the entrance examinations for almost all the prestigious Universities and Colleges in the Philippines is coming near. University of the Philippines College Entrance Test or UPCAT will be around October 10-14, I don't exactly know when. Some of my friends went back to the Philippines just to take the Ateneo Entrance Exam and it was last Sept. 18. They said it really drained their brains. If Ateneo Exams drained their brains, how much more if it was UPCAT? Now this one's terrifying.

I just hope I pass UPCAT and take up BA Journalism in Diliman. Please, I need this. :))
